Legislative elections 2023: Sustainable Talent at the heart of UEL’s proposals for Luxembourg

09.03.2023

UEL, in collaboration with its members, presents its proposals for the 2023 legislative elections. Whether in terms of employment, tax or social security policies, the proposed measures promote the sustainable development of individual and collective talent, in the interests of business competitiveness and the country’s attractiveness.

For UEL, the priority will be the country’s ability to attract, train and mobilise the talents of tomorrow.

To ensure Luxembourg’s future prosperity, UEL is working to develop sustainable talent, working closely with all the stakeholders involved. This concept applies equally to the individual talent of managers, employees and the self-employed, to the collective talent of wealth-creating companies and to the team talent of public-private partnerships.

The proposals, drafted by UEL teams in collaboration with its members, are based on its three pillars of expertise: employment, taxation and social security. The levers activated aim to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in the face of the many challenges they face and to develop a more attractive environment for employers and employees.

UEL is a key contact for political parties on employers’ issues, particularly in the run-up to elections. As a key player in social dialogue, the UEL will be mobilised right up to the elections to put its proposals at the heart of the debate and programmes.

An overview of UEL’s proposals, as well as its proposals on taxation, are now available on our dedicated page. Proposals on employment and social security will follow shortly.

In Luxembourg, let’s make it happen, with sustainable talent!
