UEL is hiring a lawyer (M/F/D) – permanent contract

As part of its development, UEL is recruiting a lawyer (M/F/D) on a permanent basis to join its General Secretariat. He/she will be in charge of dealing with labour law and social security issues and assisting the consultants in their work.

Main responsibilities :

  • Representing the interests of UEL in different bodies and working groups at national and European level with regular missions to Brussels in the framework of exchanges with the European institutions
  • Regularly monitoring the various developments in labour and social security law at national/international level, and helping to assess their impact on the Luxembourg economy
  • Carry out technical research and detailed analyses to support the drafting of various documents and works
  • Assist in the drafting of position papers and reports
  • Prepare meetings of various working groups and develop a collaborative relationship with the members of these groups
  • In general, contribute to the tasks and missions of the UEL General Secretariat

 

Your profile :

  • 4/5 years of higher education with a university degree in law, with a certificate of further education in Luxembourg law as an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory framework
  • Fluency in Luxembourgish, French, German and English
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good IT skills (Office pack, SharePoint)
  • Personal qualities: autonomy, creativity, analytical skills, discipline, sense of organisation and priorities, ability to make proposals, team spirit, flexibility and dynamism
