Questionnaire: Vaccination against COVID-19

14.09.2021

Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent infectious diseases. It enables us to protect not only ourselves, but also our fellow citizens. Thanks to the joint efforts of the global medical community, we are now fortunate to have access to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, which are an essential element in the fight against COVID-19 and will help us contain the pandemic and its impact on our health and society.

Luxembourg’s COVID-19 vaccination strategy supports access to safe and effective vaccines. This will reduce the health, social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The vaccine will help save lives and make the best use of our resources.

To better understand your views on vaccination, we invite you to participate in the following survey developed by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the UEL.

Disclaimer modelisation:

These figures are based on simulations from a SIR model developed by the Covid-19 Task Force.
The results are drawn from the latest data available and on a number of assumptions.

For example, it is assumed that all the individuals in the model have the same level of social interactions and also that there will be a gradual opening of society in autumn.
The red curve shows the number of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients if the vaccine coverage remains at 63.7% (which is the current coverage level across all age-groups).
The orange curve shows the number of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, if the vaccine coverage increases to 75%.
